Surrendering to the Holy Spirit’s Wisdom
Do we trust the Holy Spirit to tell us what to say? Sometimes, we manage to "wing it" and the right words just come out, surprising even ourselves. It's not a mere coincidence. As Christians, we are reminded in Luke 12:11-12,
When they take you before synagogues and before rulers and authorities, do not worry about how or what your defence will be or about what you are to say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that moment what you should say.
This invites us to place our full confidence in the Holy Spirit, especially in challenging or uncertain moments. Rather than relying solely on our preparation or intellect, we are called to surrender, trusting that He will guide us with wisdom and clarity when needed.
The call to trust is deeply relevant in our everyday lives. Whether we are navigating difficult conversations or responding to unexpected challenges, we are urged not to worry, but to have faith in the Lord. By releasing control and leaning into God's presence, we open ourselves to His guidance. It’s a powerful reminder our strength is not our own, but from the Holy Spirit working through us, equipping us to speak and act according to His will.
