Peter’s Chair is Empty
The passing of Pope Francis, though anticipated, is still deeply felt. His frailty was visible, yet he persevered — faithful to his calling, bearing the weight of the Church with quiet strength. In a world so often fractured and divided, he sometimes seemed like the lone voice crying out in the wilderness — speaking for justice, equality, and peace when few dared to. As his health declined, prayers rose across the globe — uncertain whether to plead for healing or for a merciful return home. Yet he remained present, gently guiding the flock, devoted to his mission until the very last day.

11 Sep 2024 - Volunteering for the Papal Mass, Pope Francis' Singapore Visit |
I remember his visit to Singapore in 2024, where I volunteered during the Mass at the Stadium. I saw him with my own eyes, even if only from afar. I heard his voice — soft, welcoming — through the speakers. That encounter, once just a passing moment, now feels like a gift. As he enters eternal rest, welcomed by all the angels above, we give thanks for a life given completely to God. And as Peter’s chair now stands empty, the Church looks ahead — toward renewed leadership, fresh vision, and the quiet promise of a new beginning.
