Still Time for Grace

Lent is nearing its end, and with it may come a quiet sense of unease - wondering if we've truly entered into the spirit of the season. Perhaps our efforts feel inconsistent, our intentions unmet. Yet God is not keeping score. What He desires is sincerity - a heart willing to return, even now. It is not how we began that matters, but how we respond in this moment. His grace meets us where we are, not where we think we should be.

If there’s a stirring to do more, begin simply. Set aside a short pocket of time today to be still before Him - no agenda, just presence. Or extend a gesture of care to someone who’s been overlooked. A word of encouragement, a quiet act of service, a moment of patience - these can be offerings of genuine love. What matters is not their scale, but the heart behind them.

Though Lent offers structure for reflection and self-denial, our response to God shouldn't end with the season. These weeks are meant to rekindle a rhythm that carries forward - one where prayer, generosity, and humility become part of how we live, not just how we prepare. Let what began in Lent take root in ordinary days, shaping how we listen, speak, and love throughout the year.
